Type LM for Thin-Walled Pipes
The LM seals are used for the subsequent connection of pipes made of vitrified clay from all manufacturers to thin-walled main pipes. This includes, among others, plastic and steel main pipes.
Pipe Seal LM
The different lengths of the LM seal offer the right connection seal for connecting vitrified clay pipes and smooth-walled pipes to pipes of all types. Only the wall thickness of the main pipes is decisive for the right LM seal!

Type LM 60
The Fernco LM Pipe Seal is designed as a flexible connection system for clay pipes to manholes. The thick profile allows the LM 60, to compensate the weight and the tolerance fluctuation of the clay pipes.
Because of the possibility crabbing the connecting pipe with a steel clamp it can be prevented ingression to the main pipe. To compensate possible setting, we recommend to connect an short pipe section as additional joint (for example: GE-piece) if applicable with a Fernco sleeve.
The LM 60 can also be used as pipe fairlead.
Type LM 50/100/150
The Fernco connection seal LM 50/100/150 is used to connect smooth-walled pipes to concrete main pipes and shafts.
For the correct length (50, 100 or 150 mm) only the wall thickness of the main pipe is decisive!
Make sure that the necessary core drilling can be made.
Tolerance of the core bore: +/- 1 mm
In addition to these listed seals, further sizes are available as special designs!
