Normally, pipes are connected to each other with couplings via the outside of the pipe. However, there are situations where this is not possible:
Concrete pipes with foot
Pipes with damaged surface
Flush cut pipes
Partially or completely concreted pipes
With our range of internal couplings, we offer you permanent and safe solutions for these situations. This makes it very easy to connect two pipes via the inner pipe surface.
The Fernco Inside/Outside-Adaptor connects all pipes that are circular on the inside, such as concrete pipes with at-base, reinforced pipes or wall ducts.
The adaptor consists on one side of an inner sleeve made of an impact-resistant ABS material with a lip seal that is inserted into a defined pipe or borehole.
The opposite side simulates the spigot end of a commercially available plastic pipe (e.g. KG / KG2000). This allows flexibility on the construction site, as it can be connected directly to a KG socket, a standard coupling type 2B with compensation ring or our universal coupling 2B1 ALL-IN-ONE, for example.
